Dr. Ali Safari Khatouni is a postdoctoral associate at the Faculty of Computer Science at Western University in Prof. Hanan Lutfiyya and Prof. Michael Bauer’s research group.
He is currently teaching Computer Science Fundamentals I and Data Structures and Algorithms using Python.
He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Faculty of Computer Science at Dalhousie University in Prof. Nur Zincir-Heywood’s research group.
He received his B.S. degree in Software engineering from Urmia University, Iran, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, Italy.
His research interests are in the areas of network traffic analysis, traffic classification, machine learning, mobile broadband networks, and smart city. He participated in several European research projects (Mplane and MONROE).
