Jana Eid is a PhD student at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications (DET) of Politecnico di Torino, under the supervision of Prof. Cristina Rottondi and Prof. Andrea Bianco.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics (2018), and a Master’s degree in Lasers and Optics (2023) from the Lebanese University.

Her current research focuses on laser failure prediction using Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) methods.
