Claudio Rossi was born in Moncalieri (Turin) in 1982. During his studies he spent 6 months in Grenoble (France) at INPG - Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble and he subsequently graduated with a double bachelor degree in Information and Communication Technology. In 2005 he obtained a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and in 2006 he graduated from Politecnico di Torino with summa cum laude degree in Electronics.

Between September 2006 and October 2007, he worked at Consorzio per il Sistema Informativo (CSI) as software analyst.

From October 2007 to June 2010 he worked as a Project Manager at Fiat Group Automobiles (FGA). He was part of the International Manufacturing Engineering were he worked for the realization of a new passenger car plant in India.

In June 2010 he joined the Telecommunication Group of Politecnico di Torino, and he is currently involved in two projects:myMed: a geolocalized peer-to-peer for fixed and mobile networks, and FIGARO: an European project aimed at realizing the architecture of a Future Internet Gateway. From January 2011 he started his PhD at Dipartimento di Elettronica of Politecnico di Torino.
